The profiled drainage membrane PLANTER GEO is a two-layer fabric made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and thermally bonded geotextile. The layers are thermally connected to each other. The surface profile of the soil membrane is set by molded cone-shaped protrusions 8.5 mm high.
The material is used for organizing horizontal and vertical drainage during the construction of foundations, paths, blind areas, as well as for “green” roofs. The PLANTER GEO profiled membrane can act as a drainage, protective, separation or root protection layer in flat serviced or ballasted roofs.
ADVANTAGES OF THE PLANTER GEO PROFILED MEMBRANE
- High strength
- Resistance to chemical and biological influences
- Effective drainage
- Reducing time for drainage installation
- Resistance to root sprouting
- Durability
The waterproof high-density polyethylene base acts as a protective and drainage layer. Due to the spikes in the drainage membrane, channels are formed for rapid drainage of water.
Thermally bonded geotextiles filter water and, due to the structure of the fibers, are resistant to silting. The high modulus of elasticity of geotextiles provides the material with resistance to soil pressure without unintended deformations.
